Continuum of Vascular Care

BioMedix is dedicated to prolonging and enhancing life through the early detection of vascular disease.

Patients benefit when care providers collaborate  to diagnose and treat disease at its earliest stages. From community screening, to diagnosis, to medical or revascularization therapies – BioMedix helps integrate vascular healthcare to save limbs and even lives. Here’s how:

Primary Care:  Primary Care and Podiatric Physicians can test patients with appropriate indications for peripheral vascular disease by using a simple 15-20 minute exam (PADnet from BioMedix).

Vascular Laboratory:  Vascular specialists review results of the PADnet tests and when necessary, lab personnel perform more noninvasive exams, like duplex ultrasound, to help confirm a diagnosis.  BioMedix products PVL (Portable Vascular Lab) assist in providing more complete physiologic data, and TRAKnet Lab (formerly CustomLab) database software improves efficiency and helps labs gain ICAVL accreditation.

Vascular Specialist:  Specialists receive data from PADnet and their vascular labs, so they can prescribe or intervene before the disease progresses to life threatening status. Using TRAKnet Outcomes (formerly OTiS), a surgical outcomes database software program, specialists who perform surgery or endovascular procedures find efficiencies in billing, and documenting successful outcomes.

Health Systems Administrators:  Administrators can use BioMedix products as part of a strategy to develop a peripheral vascular center of excellence. From using PADnet to identify patients needing vascular treatment, to using TRAKnet Lab (formerly CustomLab) to improve efficiency in their vascular lab, to using TRAKnet Outcomes (formerly OTiS) to enhancing performance in their surgical and endovascular programs, Hospital Systems benefit from all that BioMedix has to offer – both diagnostic  and software tools
