Between 8 and 10 million Americans have Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). Without diagnosis and treatment, 30% of these people will die within five years. Others will lose limbs and become disfigured. Early diagnosis will solve many of these grim problems.
PAD can now be assessed in Primary Care Settings, including Podiatry offices, through PADnet, a diagnostic solution from BioMedix. PADnet is unique because it is effective, Medicare reimbursable, and easy to use. Your staff can rapidly learn how to operate the device. PADnet typically breaks even after four tests per month.
Connect With Vascular Experts
PADnet uploads physiologic data from tests to an Internet site where expert readers of your choice can interpret the tests and provide expert study interpretations. If your site is part of a health care system, data from PADnet will be uploaded to TRAKnet Lab (formerly CustomLab) software for vascular laboratories. Abnormal physiologic data from PADnet will often require further imaging studies by a vascular lab.
A Community Of Vascular Care
PADnet and TRAKnet Lab are part of a community of care model at BioMedix. Another part of this model is TRAKnet Outcomes (formerly OTiS) outcomes tracking software, which is used by vascular interventiolists and health care administrators. BioMedix is committed to creating vascular diagnostic solutions for communities of care.
